Try this for one month. Don’t do any advertising. Don’t print any new collateral. Don’t send out any press releases. Don’t do any traditional forms of marketing.
Instead take all the money you would have spent on those things and for the next month focus on activities to show how you deliver on all of your brand promises.
Here are some ideas:
Host an event with your best customers to share with them some of the new things you have in store for your company
Have a professional photographer come in and take some interesting and unusual pictures that you can post through your social media channels
Set up small demos of your products wherever you can (e.g. at your store, in front of your store, on the side of the street if you can)
Film yourself on your smartphone demonstrating how your product provides value to people and why you passionately do what you do and post in on your website and social media channels
Hold a contest for employees to show how they live up to your brand values to customers
Again, just try it for a month and see if living your brand is actually more valuable than just talking about about it.
